The Pharos Group, LLC

The Pharos lighthouse, located in the harbor of Alexandria, Egypt, was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At nearly 40 stories tall, it was the first architecturally designed lighthouse in history when construction was begun in 285 BC. The Pharos lighthouse stood for over 1,500 years, towering over the eastern Mediterranean Sea, guiding ships to safety by day using massive mirrors to reflect the sun's light. At night a huge fire was built in the tower's base and reflected out to sea by the mirrors in the beacon.

The word "Pharos" is the root of the word lighthouse in the French, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian languages. More significantly, the word has come to symbolize "guiding light."
